Uzdevumi.lv is an e-learning portal and Virtual School. This web based e-learning solution has transformed the mundane study process into an adventure! The portal offers pupils an opportunity to train on their own for the future tests and exams, to participate in competitions and win amazing prizes, to follow their learning progress, to solve daily exercises and to search for new learning opportunities! In their turn teachers get a unique chance to prepare and conduct online tests with exercises from uzdevumi.lv content data base or after creating their own exercises!
Portal uzdevumi.lv was launched in spring 2009. It was very stressful time for pupils of 9th and 12th grades as the exams were approaching. At that time more than 10 000 pupils were getting ready for their exams in our portal. It gave them chance to strengthen their knowledge and gain assurance of their abilities.
In September 2009 Data Pro Grupa Ltd. launched Virtual School in portal uzdevumi.lv. Now pupils are able to study various school subjects via Internet and see their results straight away. If pupil has purchased PROF status, he can also see the correct answers and step-by-step solutions to all exercises. This enables pupils to learn by doing and as a result they gain knowledge more effectively.
Pupils are not the only target group whose educational process has been altered by uzdevumi.lv. Since April 2010 we offer teachers to create and conduct online tests for their pupils in section ‘Tests’. This service is completely free of charge for both teachers and pupils. It enables teachers to create tests from exercises stored in uzdevumi.lv content data base or after developing their own content. These tests can be assigned to pupils as homework or conducted as tests in a computer classroom at school. Moreover the system ensures automatic review of the results and saves a lot of time.
